Come celebrate the return of the sun as we move from the time of darkness into the season of light. The altars represented in this show by nine artists offer the perspective of gratitude. An altar can be a place to focus on our intentions, gratitude will lighten the darkness and aid us in moving into the time of growth. This is a cause for celebration and much of our winter holiday comes from solstice festivities--many aspects of which are related to fire and light and the rebirth of hope.Organized by Jeanne Jabbour and Marcy Voyevod, this group show ushers out the first year of Oakopolis activities and invites the new year to be full with creative process.
