PAINTING FROM A DEEP PLACE … Why do I draw and paint?… It holds me to the earth. It makes me feel closer to both the world around me and the one inside myself…. I can draw the wind and the sound of chickens, paint with dust and ashes and vegetables as well as oil and acrylics, make paintings that may be a valid addition to the planet, or at least, valid additions to some viewers’ lives.
